Print off the "Coffee Filter Butterfly" art activity and get busy creating!

 

Coffee Filter Butterfly   Materials: ·         ½ black pipe cleaner                                            ·         paper coffee filter ·         water color paints    Directions: Flatten out the coffee filter and place it on a paper plate. Paint away onto the coffee filter. The paint and water will soak through so both sides should be colorful. Let the coffee filter dry. Cut the pipe cleaner in half. Fold the coffee filter accordion style. Take the pipe cleaner and twist it half way around the coffee filter.  Bend the tips of the pipe cleaner over to create the antennae. Fan out the butterfly wings.
