Read the preschooler game "Descriptive Adjectives" online or print it off and play!

Descriptive Adjectives

Directions

1. Your child can pick their favorite toys.

2. Ask your child, “What color is the toy?” “Is it big, medium, or little?” “Is it soft, smooth, or hard?”

3. Ask your child questions until you have a really good description of the toy. Then tell them they are going to put all of those words together to describe their toy.

4. Help them to come up with a great description of their toy. My big, blue, squishy ball is my favorite.

5. Tell them these words are called adjectives.

6. Continue this game at anytime by pointing to an object and coming up with the most creative adjectives to describe the object!
