Ask your child, "What does it mean to add?"

O My child can explain the concept of addition.

Put out two collections but don't go over 10 pieces. Have your child tell you how many pieces are in the two collections.

O My child can add two collections up to 10 pieces.

You will need a number line to 10.  Ask your child to add 4+3=_____ using the number line.

O My child can use a number line to add to 10.

Run off the mixed addition sheet to 10.

O My child had 100% on the Mixed Addition Facts to 10.
