large container 
water
towels
Sink or Float Chart
All kinds of items (penny, cork, toys, marker, spoon)

Directions:

1)Fill the large container with water.
2)Have your child place the item in the water, but beforethey do they must predict if it will sink or float.
3)After they have put the item in the water, they put it under sink or float.
