Figuring Out the Pattern

1. Connective cubes work great for putting together patterns but you can also use crayons and draw out your patterns on paper.

2. Start by putting together a simple pattern. The other person has to figure out the pattern.
Example: (Red, blue, red, blue...)

3. Next, put together harder patterns. The other person has to figure out the pattern and tell what the next pattern would look like.
Example: (Red always is one cube and blue you add one more than the last set of blue. So the next pattern would be one red and five blue.)
