Ants

     There are about 10,000 different kinds of ants. Most ants are black or brown but some ants are purple, blue, green, and yellow.
     Ants are usually less than 1 inch long but they are amazingly strong. Most ants can lift 10 times their body weight and some ants can lift 50 times their body weight.
     Ants are social insects that live in a community called a colony. Each ant has a job that makes the colony strong.
