Horton Hears a Who
by Dr. Seuss
Horton hears a cry for help from a speck of dust. Horton discover that the speck of dust is actually a tiny planet, home to a microscopic community called Whoville, where the Whos live. Horton vows to protect the Whos from harm and in doing so he is ridiculed and forced into a cage. Horton tells the Whos that they need to make themselves heard. They finally accomplish this by getting all members of their society to do their part in making noise. The moral of the story, "a person's a person, no matter how small."
